When I compared the raw xml from the restored guide with the first version that had a difference, there were only two differences. The restored version (left in the comparison below) has a variable being set by a button click. Nothing suspicious there. The only other difference is that the restored version has NESTED="false" on page 1.4a, but in the previous version, it's just NESTED="". That seems suspicious, and perhaps the attribute with no value threw it off?
