there's no authentication or encryption, and a UAS could be hijacked using this 
link.

Please enhance security.

Generally you may want to use an external RC Transmitter/Receiver which will do 
the job for you. There are some newer transmitter that use frequency/channel 
hopping which is almost unbreakable secure.

Are you talking about a hijack via telemetry/GCS control?  On the receiver 
side, I am not aware of anyone proving the concept of a Spektrum or similar 
frequency hoping RC controller's bind.  Those people are probably busy hacking 
intellicode garage door openers.
