[FEATURE] Overarmor. Free, armor slots. (No Module or Setting) #3546

Open Tcm9 opened 4 years ago

Tcm9 commented 4 years ago

Describe your feature request. You can put any item you want in the armor slot in Creative mode. (It is only possible in creative mode)

you should be able to enable/disable this feature with .overarmor on/off.

You do not need to create a module for this. (It should simply always be on or off in the background. When you are in creative.)

it should be quick. And it is useful for e.g. Timolia, where you can give yourself items at 1 vs 1 in the creative menu.

Tcm9 commented 4 years ago

Please not a Module. Only a command. It should be turned on in creative by default.

1zun4 commented 4 years ago

Why not a module? It's much easier for us to add it as a module...?

Tcm9 commented 4 years ago

A module is switched off by default. Also, small features shouldn't get a lot of modules now. You wouldn't even need a command for that. You can just leave it always on in creative. That wouldn't bother anyone. You don't make a separate module for .taco, .enchant, .rename. With Overarmor you don't even need a command. You can leave it out.

Tcm9 commented 4 years ago

only if Creative is enabled = you can also drag the items into the armor slot

Tcm9 commented 4 years ago

(by the way) Thanks also for fixing the .give bug

This was a good laugh

I ask it to just It should simply be automatically enabled in creative mode. (without module or command)

Is there a situation where this comes to handy?

1: for timolia 1 vs 1. a plugin checks for illegal items in the inventory. But not in the armor slot. So you can take illegal items into the 1 vs 1 battle. General plugins often only check the inventory without armor. This is also true for some .invsee plugins. 2: Items you put in your head can be seen. there is a fun aspect to it, it looks cool, and it is a "head-block" replacement. 3: If you give an item (e.g. sword) protection 4, the armour part gives protection and is indestructible. (Good for some game modes, where you always attack with a lot of damage).

no we are going to add this as module you are not the only one on this god damn planet using this client so we are not going to add something like this as default

Then make it so that you can always have the module turned on. Even in survival. I want the module always on. And that's not extra, if I go creative, that I have to turn the module on.

I also want to make sure that this is not also in the arraylist. It is already filled with little things like Perfekthorsejump or Portalmenu. These are modules that don't belong in the array list. And Overarmor is also part of it. You want to have certain modules always switched on, for example the modules mentioned above. But the arraylist is completely filled up.

Dude make your own fork of LiquidBounce where you add all your super dooper nice features, but we won't do this in our upstream builds ._.
