Gap Analysis between ESI and CloudLab/Chameleon for use by researchers #489

We want to identify what capabilities may need to be added to ESI, or wrappers around ESI, to include the capabilities of cloudlab and chameleon.

The personas involved include:

  1. Researcher requesting bare metal nodes
  2. Administrators making decisions about who gets which nodes
  3. Administrators responsible for the OCT and ESI networks

This analysis should call out features implemented in ESI but not widely used/tested so that we may begin identifying the known/unknown.

This is tied to whether we want to offer ESI directly to systems researchers.
