the user would see a wizard that lets them select an image, network, and ssh key
when the user continues, metalsmith is called using the above plus the relevant node information (node UUID and resource class)
the provisioning state of the node in the lease panel would reflect state changes (similar to how the power status can be power on or power off or a transition like power off -> power on
