Possibly do a HaaS plugin for IB partitions.

If so, it'd be good to talk about how well the HaaS model maps onto IB partitions.

Have been reading up about the infiniband stuff.

Looks like we will need a different network backend; partitions with partition keys (like VLANs with VLAN IDs), Host Channel Adapters (HCA) with GUIDs will be registered to nics (analogous to NICs having Mac Addresses). And then the inifiniband switch itself.

A bit more reading to do before I propose the formal spec.
