make it more obvious where to enter search text: currently must enter into small green boxes; it is confusing you can't enter text into the white text box saying "doi"

Make input text boxes white, and the rest of the forms not white, so they jump more to the eye.

can the currently green boxes be made wider (they are currently only a small proportion of the screen width)

I had made them small on purpose originally, because I thought they would keep the interface more compact. If we want them bigger, then what do you think of these?

They're the default that would come with the other library (not mine) that I used to style the page, and they're pretty wide. If you like them we can switch to those everywhere.

Changed the style to use the Bulma defaults for better clarity in 27bc1e18134f2aeb997093c3b500218bd6f47382.
