I wouldn't say it's terrible. It's unnecessary, sure, and the joke is unfunny, but it's not malicious.

what? It's fucking terrible. It's not funny at all, it's unnecessary, and it's simply cringe. If it was a thing that was implemented by vyc without making a fuss over it then it would've been fine. But to make a pr for something like this is just plain dumb as far as I'm concerned.

now, I'm not saying the feature is terrible, but this pr is. Well, the feature itself is pretty dumb too, but I don't care as much about it as I care about this pr.
