Vistrails module in UVCDAT

All the modules in VIstrails are not in UVCDAT GUI (Eg vtDV3D). I m not familiar with Vistrails. Is it possible to get all modules into UVCDAT. Kindly help me in this regard..

No sir.. I dont know Vistrails.. In Vistrails, i found that there are so many modules which includes vtDV3D, which is not in UVCDAT.. I want all that modules in UVCDAT.. IS it possible?

DV3D is actually in UVCDAT. DV3D plots are accessed from the plot menu of the UVCDAT gui. What version of UVCDAT are you using?

Is vtDV3D your package? If so it should be part of vistrails/uvcdat, I'm not sure why this user cannot see it.

I m really sorry for the confusion.. Actually i want to clip my data using shapefile.. I saw the module, vtk in Vistrails in which it has shown many options for clipping. But that options are not available in UVCDAT.. I dont have idea to open shapefiles in UVCDAT also.. Please give me solution for this.. I am sorry once again for mentioning vtDV3D instead of vtk...

@aashish24 is this due to the fact that the new "default"/"light" UV-CDAT only contains a slimmed version of VTK? If so I would recommend @geethar123 to use the FULL version of UV-CDAT when it comes out rather than the "basic" one.

@doutriaux1 I don't think it has to do anything with the build thing. @geethar123 You can directly use VTK. the Vistails provides you the graphics workflow system that you can then use to run the VTK pipeline. Also, the vistrails we have in UV-CDAT is not the same vistrails as in the master. They have diverged and may not contain the same code. I would suggest you send us the example code or data you want to use. I can show you how do it in VTK via python interface.

@aashish24 you'll know better. @geethar123 is just saying think that should be part of the vtk module seem to be gone? right? So I was thinking it might be because we turned them off in our VTK build.

The clip filters are there in our VTK build. I think we need more detail from @geethar123 before I can say much more since most of what we got so far is abstract.

Thank you so much for your reply sir, My issue is that I have global temperature data in netcdf format. I have to clip the data exactly using India shapefile in UVCDAT. I have enclosed the india shapefile but i am not able to send netcdf file due to its size.. Kindly suggest me some solutions...

There is actualy a package that could do this fir you: ocgis I'm CCing Ben who is the main developper.

We are working with Ben toward an eventual integration of ocgis within UV-CDAT/cdms2
