Hi,

I am trying to install the cdms packages, and after I did I have the following when importing it:

@victorquik I deleted the git.py import a while ago since it was never used. That file was automatically generated (I think it was cdat_info that generated this on-the-fly).

I also noticed that I don't have that line anymore in my master branch. I just clone the repository in my a new directory and it reappeared.... so my master branch is different than origin/master.

I will create a PR. I am not sure why all our cdms tests pass, every single one of them should fail because of this... Thanks for reporting.
