from /tmp to /tmp//uvcmetrics. The directory is created if it does not exist.

This addresses, and may well fix, issue 256, "/tmp conflict".

Somehow a directory name dropped out of my comment. The new default cache path is /tmp/< user name >/uvcmetrics. As before, "--cachepath" is one of the many available command-line options.

There were failures. Did you start from master The following tests FAILED: 4 - diags_test_04 (Failed) 5 - diags_test_4A (Failed) 7 - diags_test_06 (Failed)

For the official record, all tests had passed using last week's UV-CDAT. We (and Charles) agreed that this is a recent VCS change which will be fixed or reverted by tomorrow.
