Enterprise Data Exchange (DEX) is a new cloud-native centralized data ingestion, validation, and observation service scoped for common data types (HL7, FHIR, CDA, XML, CSV) sent to the CDC. It helps public health stakeholders who send data to the CDC while reducing the maintenance efforts, complexity, and duplication of ingestion points to CDC.

Setup and configure Azure Health Data Services Workspace in CDC subscription, so that FHIR services can be enabled for the FHIR solution

Aaron is the only team member that currently has access to the CDC subscription. The team did a FHIR build-out hackathon to get the core infrastructure for our FHIR solution created, including the Azure Health Data Services workspace resource. The team documented the process in preparation for Terraform automation.
