User story

As a ReportStream current/prospective user, I want to know timely updates about ReportStream's work, so that I understand ReportStream's offerings and priorities and how they may impact my work.

Background & context

“Case Surveillance News” is a quarterly newsletter that goes out to a network of STLTs from the CDC NNDSS Program. It’s primarily used share updates from NNDSS, but it is also a channel to highlight cross-cutting stories from across the case surveillance community. Each edition is put together collaboratively by CDC, CSTE, and APHL. Subsequent issues will be released at the end of each quarter (e.g., Dec. 2024, Mar. 2025, June 2025).

hi @MikaelahD13 and @chris-kuryak - I created this ticket and snuck it into this sprint because the client requested a quick turnaround time.

ReportStream’s public roadmap reflects progress towards FY25 goals and objectives

ReportStream is CDC’s free, intermediary service for streamlining public health data exchange. As an open-source project dedicated to working in public, the ReportStream team publishes our product roadmap online with monthly updates. In addition to supporting all reportable conditions, ReportStream will broaden to additional core data sources, focusing on routing hospitalization data through FY25.
