We want to make sure every transformation/operation in stan is tested. Here are some examples:
Make sure that the weekly unadjusted R(t) is properly converted to a daily unadjusted R(t)
Make sure all probability mass functions are normalized (sum to 1)
check that the daily p_hosp generated in stan from the intercept and N(0,1)*stdev_in_logit_scale produces a daily vector that has the standard deviation in linear scale that we would expect
