A recent DataShare user was wondering how someone would contact her once they downloaded the data. She wanted a place to enter her e-mail address and have it associated with the record.

This is replacing a Pivotal Tracker ticket that @MeganLaurance entered

A couple of points: it would need to live in the Datacite metadata. Is there a place for it there?

Also, an email address isn't a panacea--they will inevitably start to break. Is there something more intelligent we could do in the longer term, perhaps using ORCID? Can we get a current email address using the ORCID API? If so, we could require submitters to have an ORCID, and use it to get a current email address for any reporting. This would require some development.
