Needed frontend changes to make it work with Affiliations updates in backend #137

The backend made some updates to how Affiliations work in this ticket: https://github.com/CDLUC3/dmsp_backend_prototype/issues/67

In order for Affiliations to work on the frontend, we need to make some changes to the code once #67 is merged.

I assigned this to Epic Account Management because I believe the signup pages will be using Affiliations search.
