Some eScholarship DOIs registered with Crossref returned a high number of errors in 2021. These should be investigated and addressed by the eScholarship and EZID teams.
There are a couple of categories of issues as far as I can tell:
Some appear to be duplicates that Crossref allowed to be registered but with a warning. These should be investigated by the eScholarship team and aliased accordingly.
Some appear to have been caused by formatting/validation errors in the metadata that simply need to be fixed by the eScholarship team in order for the DOIs to resolve.
