This is to merge the changes in the poetry-ashley branch to the develop branch. Scott and I created new branches copy_develop and copy-poetry branches to try resolving merge conflicts. It worked (Thanks Scott). The copy_develop branch should have all the changes Ashley made, plus the updated pyproject.py and poetry.lock files, and the updated CI testing script.
