Follow up from Merritt conversation on 7/7/2022 with John, Catherine, Marisa.

Merritt objects are arranged in cloud storage by ark. System files and producer files are differentiated.

If Merritt was reconstituted from only cloud objects, what would the process look like?
If a campus reconstituted their content from only cloud objects, what would the process look like? How would that content be isolated by campus?

"In the event that CDL is unable or unwilling to continue operation of Merritt, it will make reasonable efforts to find another curatorial organization, within or outside the UC system, willing to take on custodial responsibility for all managed content. If that is not possible, CDL will return all content to its contributors at no added expense."
