Thanks @kmcmullen! I posted in Teams, but I'm adding here for posterity (i.e. me, when I forget where we talked about it)
The CSS style that's making Related items split into 3 columns is the same CSS style that splits Nature of source text into 3 columns. Totally fixable. Had a couple questions for you, though, so I know which changes to make:

I think the answer for now is just to take it out of the HTML list; we'll list the array inline, and if there are multiple items in the array in the future, we can adjust the inline look.
For some reason, notes for related items are now displaying in columns in the top metadata (see here: https://chesnuttarchive.org/item/ccda.corr00042). This wasn't the case before, so something must have changed.
