Discuss Facets

Currently these are our facets, some of which require quite a bit of metadata cleanup to work correctly:

Preliminary facet ideas. Items in [] indicate the API field powering that facet.

Currently supported:

• Site Content [Category]
  • All content
  • Archive Item
• Year
• People
• Language
• Item Type [Subcategory OR Format] (whichever we decide to use)
• Places
• Creator

Things that may require more/different metadata:

• Text Type
  • Transcription
  • Translation

Isabel was also interested in displaying all the letters that exhibited code switching, but I said that would probably be better as text analysis than handled in the search.
