Missing icons work-in-progress? #2

Are there build menu icons for the UE Terra I and II and the Phobos gunships? Thank you.

Not all Units in FBP New Techs have thier Unit Build Icons yet. If you don't see the existing Icons you should install the Blackops Global Icon Support Mod. The current Unit Designs will be changed in the future with new Models, Textures and Animations. So some exiting Icons will be changed or fully new ones will be added in the future with the integration of the new Designs.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm not sure that BlackOps Global Icon Support Mod works with FAF but I'll try it. As an alternative and a temporary fix, I used similarly looking build icons from other factions instead. Good enough for now. :-)

I love what you are doing and the way the units are designed. I especially like that you are providing units that compliment or plug in the 'holes' in Tech 1. Examples would be the hovercraft (Iron Mk1), the gunship (Terra Mk1), and the mobile missile launcher (Samy). I also like the new mass extractor in Tech1 (for some reason, I can't get the one I downloaded from github working though).

I downloaded your mod at the FAF vault and noticed an error message in the FAF game log. I asked about these errors in the FAF forum. The developer of the 'add-on mod' LOUD, Sprouto, said the you are still active in moddb.com, which I visited. I left you a question about the error there. Is there any chance you can update or fix the error in the version that is in the FAF vault? It was uploaded in 2017 and quite old. I read you could not upload or update because of large file limitations in the FAF website. Perhaps you can do a patch or a mini-update involving smaller files instead?

It would be too bad if people get the wrong impression about your mod because of the error since the mod itself is great, and you've also apparently fixed the error in the latest github version. Thank you.

No Problem :) What is wrong with the Mod, which you have downloaded from Github? Did you have installed it correctly by following the Github Install Instructions or did you have discovered an another Error with it?

I know there is an old Version on the FAF Modvault too. However as I said it on Moddb this is an old Mod Stage, which doesn't exits anymore. It has been replaced by FBP Legends, FBP New Techs and FBP Defenses, which have thier own Topics:

FBP Legends = Adds some Units, which are based on some unused Concept Artwork's from the Developers FBP New Techs = Adds some new special Units and Technologies for all Techlevels, Factions or Layers FBP Defenses = Adds new Defense Structures to the Game. Including the mighty Outpots, Fortresses and some others.

The Name of the old Mod "Future Battlefield Pack" will be used for an planned Collectors Edition in the Future. So this Edtion will be released on Moddb and on the FAF Modvault later, which includes all FBP Mods in one Downloadable Pack

That is basically the reason why I don't have released something since 2017. Before I release them, I still want to improve the Quality of the extiting new Units with new Models, Textures and Animations. So I was mostly busy to improve my skills in Modeling, Texturing and Animation in the past. However the FBP Community has requested a huge Content Drop for FBP Orbital several times. So I have focused my main Work Progress on FBP Orbital for a while.

Personally I'm not really active on the official FAF Forums. Most people are already visiting the official Moddb Pages of the FBP Modproject or FBP Obital.
I have write it on Moddb that the most recent Versions of the FBP Mods can be downloaded from Github. As an Early Access of course, but the Mods on Github have already including the fixes from the old Mod.

The Mod (might be New Techs, I'm not sure because I activated all of your four mods at the same time) would error out when I tried to create the new Tech1 mass extractor. And yes, I think I installed it correctly: I simply removed the hyphens and 'master' at the end of the title.

The mod you have in FAF's vault is great, except for what might be a 'minor' but hopefully easily fixed error(s). If the 2017 version is v1.0 for example, maybe you can upload a small patch v1.001 or something. At least people would know that you are responsive (nice reputation to have for your mods in the future), and that you still care, and still, an active developer.
