Within the 4 months of developing this project, Ionic went from beta 11 to RC4. This project needs to be updated to the latest version, and follow the correct design patterns, such as @NgModule.
Also, sprinkled across the app, are bug reports for beta ionic features/components, upgrading Ionic would be a long, but MUCH needed improvement
