I'd like to see:

an explanation of each value in the settings.ini
for the API keys and secrets, explanations on how to set those up for your own account
instructions on setting up a virtualenv, and for that virtualenv's name to be added to the .gitignore
add settings.ini to the gitignore

I can work on some of these soon.
