Couldn't reproduce this problem
Can you please test with a "clean" install (without any other mod) ?

I'm not getting any sound either from the animals added in smp mocreatures mod.
The exact method of installing the mod I used was.
- Open mod_smpMoCreaturesClient_v1.0.0.jar with an archive manager (WinZip,
WinRar, 7z, ...)
- Open your %appdata%/.minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar with your archive manager
- Include the contents of minecraft folder from
mod_smpMoCreaturesClient_v1.0.0.jar into your minecraft.jar
- Include the contents of resources folder from
mod_smpMoCreaturesClient_v1.0.0.jar into your minecraft.jar
- Include the contents of GuiAPI mod into your minecraft.jar
- Include the contents of Audiomod into your minecraft.jar
- Include the contents of Modloader 1.3_01v4 into your minecraft.jar
- Delete the META-INF folder inside your minecraft.jar
I'm running windows 7 32bit
I'm not running any other mods and was a clean install.
In the original mod for single player I did have sound with the mocreatures

When I wrote that post I was using a "clean" install and was not using any
other mods, only a texture pack. I had followed the install instructions on
your post step by step. I have played the original single player version of mo
creatures before and had successfully installed it. Just to make sure I didn't
make a mistake, I did a "clean" install again (again following your
instructions step by step). I did not install the texture pack this time. I
double checked the mods I got from your links were the correct versions. I
still did not get sound from the new animals. I logged into fensoft's server
and had the same results, no sound from the new animals.

First, thanks for the precision of your reports : it helped me to understand
the problem which was located in my install instructions...

To fix the problem, you'll have to follow the new instructions (updated on the
first post), where I replaced the wrong instruction.
Wrong instruction :
- Include the contents of resources folder from
mod_smpMoCreaturesClient_v1.0.0.jar into your minecraft.jar
Fixed instruction :
- Include the contents of resources folder from
mod_smpMoCreaturesClient_v1.0.0.jar into your %appdata%/.minecraft/resources
folder.
