Planes Invalid or corrupt jarfile (server)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Drag all jar files from planes mod and modloadermp server into unarchived 
minecraft_server.jar
2.recompile folder as a jar file
3.start through teminal using "java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar 
minecraft_server.jar nogui"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
should start server and out put spawn loading percentages.  Just prints 
"Invalid or corrupt jarfile minecraft_server.jar" instead

What is the mod version ?
Planes v9 SMP

What is your operating system?
mac snow leopard

Please provide any additional information below.
any help much appreciated thanks in advance.

sorry for this not being about mocreatures, but there is no where else that i 
found to get help with smp mods in this way.  i really hope somebody can help.
