Amorphous dolphins

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Examine a dolphin

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The dolphin should move and jump, but it stay on the bottom and doesn't move

What is the client mod version ?
1.0.0

What is the server mod version ?
1.0.0

Must be incorrect values in motions calculation

we are running server v 1.1.0, client 1.0.0. on windows 7 and vista versions of 
windows.

our server is not spawning dolphins on normal or peaceful. we went out and 
looked far and deep for them (as a group) today. we looked for them singly in 
different directions of the past 2 days, as well.
