Unhandled Exception UI jumps/changes immediate upon prompting #527

When an error is caught the UI prompt seems to redraw twice, with the second draw being a slightly different layout. This causes a really distracting jump.

Per Slack:

the jump in ui is due to adding elements to the dialog (after async checking if that error has been reported / solved yet). i'll work on that soon
