after having set filter (updated layerDefinition property) and then clear filters, the client-side feature count is not updating correctly. Also in some situations it is giving a different value than the server-side feature count
until this is resolved all feature counts will be done on the server-side (i.e. using FeatureLayer) which can be a little slower at larger scales
