writing .rda/.twix files #76

Open TinaUOL opened 2 years ago

Dear all,

I have two different runs in separated .rda/.twix files. With op_concatAverages, I was able to combine them. But is there a way to write them back as .rda/.twix files? I look over all your functions but could not find the correct one.

I am using Osprey for the further analyses and that checks for the rda/twix files.

Any help would be appreciated.

Best regards, Tina

The available IO functions are here: https://github.com/CIC-methods/FID-A/tree/master/inputOutput

There is not currently a rda/twix output. We would welcome a new function to write out in that format (or at least a link to the on-disk documentation format). You'll have to write out another format and do conversion.

Hi Tina,

My understanding is that Osprey uses the FID-A structure format (with possibly a few minor changes). You will want to confirm this with Georg Oeltzschner, but if I’m right then perhaps it is not necessary for you to write back into twix/rda format. Instead, you might be able to work directly with the FID-A data structure in Osprey.

Best wishes, Jamie
