Hoa Library -- Max 6 #1

I've had no luck finding the files installed for use by Max. I admit I'm not highly skilled with Max, I'm using the latest copy of Max. I've tried installing both automatically and manually. Hardware: MBP

Where are the external objects located? I.e. where should I search for HOA within Max? It is not visible as a patch, or as best I can tell as an external object

I copied the .MXO files to a directory in the file preferences for MAX...now things seem to be working fine.

I am on Mountain Lion, if that is useful for anyone else having issues installing this using the automatic installer.

Hi, The automatic and manual install should work fine for max6 version, but we don't support max6.1 yet. We are waiting Max6.1 SDK release to fix it. Next release of HOA should include 64bit support, an access to the Hoa documentation (object explorer, references tutorials)... The HOA library is a suite of objects destined to high order ambisonic sound reproduction, an overview of all available objects and patches could be found in the hoa.overview patch within the extra folder or in the extra menu within Max.
