Some things you can experiment with:

Creating seasonal averages from individual years (JFM, AMJ, JAS, OND)
Create seasonal averages from several years
Time series covering multiple years
Temperature statistics for individual lakes (isolating the individual lakes will be generally useful for us anyway)
Anything else you want to plot!
