Squid3 is being developed by the Cyber Infrastructure Research and Development Lab for the Earth Sciences (CIRDLES.org) at the College of Charleston, Charleston, SC and Geoscience Australia as a re-implementation in Java of Ken Ludwig's Squid 2.5. - please contribute your expertise!
This window is OK for those of us that are used to it, but I would like to see the layout improved to clarify that for the Grouped-sample prefixes, the operations we are performing are (a) Common Pb Assignment (as captioned) and (b) selecting an Age Type, (which is not currently captioned).
Each row currently contains 10 radio-button options. Users are expected to make one selection from the leftmost 3, and one selection from the rightmost 7... but that isn't very clear.
What I would like to see is all occurrences of "_Age" deleted from the radio-button captions for the rightmost 7. Use the space saved to move all of the Age-type radio-buttons to the right, opening up a gap between the caption "SK" and the radio-button for "4cor 206Pb238U" (yellow highlight below). [Don't move any of the leftmost 3 radio-buttons: they are fine as is.]
That gap, in conjunction with an aligned header "Age Type" which matches the current header "Common Pb Assignment", would probably be enough to get the point across.
