Tripoli imports raw mass spectrometer data files and supports interactive review and archiving of isotopic data. Tripoli facilitates visualization of temporal trends and scatter during measurement, statistically rigorous filtering of data, and calculation of statistical parameters.
In "On Peak Intensities by Time" tab for Preview/Review, make the data display easier to interpret by:
Using a different symbol for Faraday (F) and ion counter (PM) data. My ideas are:
You could use an outlined marker with the same color fill (e.g., use the current filled circle with no outline for Faraday,
use a darker and/or lighter shade of the current color (e.g., current yellow for 208Pb on F, darker yellow for 208Pb on PM), or
use a filled circle of the same size but with a black outline for PM data), use a different marker shape (e.g., plus signs or stars instead of circles).
Other ideas would likely work as well. This will distinguish data points on two dimensions -- species measured (e.g., 204Pb vs. 206Pb vs. 208Pb) and collector used (i.e., Faraday vs. Ion Counter).
