Tripoli imports raw mass spectrometer data files and supports interactive review and archiving of isotopic data. Tripoli facilitates visualization of temporal trends and scatter during measurement, statistically rigorous filtering of data, and calculation of statistical parameters.
In the OG Tripoli Plots window, plots move unexpectedly between cycle and block mode when interacting with various plot controls. For instance:
When all plots are in cycle mode (the check box at the top is checked), changing the ratio scale to "Log" using the check box at the top switches all plots to block mode. The check box next to 'Cycle' remains checked even though all plots are now in block mode. Unchecking the 'Log' ratio scale check box leaves the plots in block mode, with the 'Cycle' box still checked.
Hitting the "Replot All" button when the 'Cycle' Mode check-box is checked causes the ratio plots to plot and calculate in 'block mode' and the user functions to stay in 'Cycle' mode.
I would expect the following behavior:
Checking the 'Cycle' mode checkbox at the top checks all cycle mode boxes for all individual plots. Unchecking it unchecks all cycle mode checkboxes for all individual plots. Cycle vs. block mode is sticky for all other plotting controls. If one or more individual plots switch from cycle to block mode, or vice versa, then gray out the check-box for Cycle Mode at the top of the window to show that there are plots in both cycle and block mode. De-gray the Cycle Mode check box at the top if the user clicks on it again to synchronize Cycle vs. Block mode across all plots.
