I’m not sure exactly what you need, but I do see you are a github and python user. Have you taken a look at the github OVAL repository and python tools that come with it: https://github.com/CISecurity/OVALRepo https://github.com/CISecurity/OVALRepo
You can clone the repo and then use the python scripts to search the contents, build packages, identify files that have been added/updated in a specific date range, etc. Is that what you need to do?
