Users perspective - The Soldier #9

Soldiers and officers tend to have very different views on what is important. The document attatched includes viewpoints from a soldiers perspective. This is to help developers identify the end-user and their primary concerns when using command, control, communications and computer systems [C4] on operations.

Also find attached a wireframe model that is representative of the typical soldiers display with an example of an easy to use lay out for navigation.

This is the approximate layout of an Infantry Company whilst on operations. Red users will likely have direct input into the system [writing reports, escalating urgency, further analysis, etc] the Yellow users are likely to feedback on intelligence provided and may write reports too, but this is not necessarily always the case. Some of the 'attached arms' may not always be present but it is safe to assume there will always be an intelligence cell within any unit. deployedCompany.pdf
