Your Role You’ll love data and unlocking insight! You’ll be responsible for providing expert advice and consulting on leading Data solutions for our customers ranging from Business Intelligence solutions, Data Warehouses, Reporting, Visualisation and Analytics. As a core member of the Data Insights team, you’ll use your technical prowess and experience in this growing area of our business.
Based in Wellington, you will work across multiple clients and projects, designing and delivering cutting-edge advanced analytics solutions.
About you: To fit in with us, you will need to be a passionate, motivated and client focused Senior Consultant. You will be incredibly ambitious, and as a confident, expert developer in business intelligence, you will be at ease presenting to a broad audience and enjoy sharing your knowledge with your peers.
You will have: Demonstrated capability in the Microsoft Data Insights platform, or equivalent. Database development and Management (SQL Server), data integration (SSIS), business intelligence (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS) Experience translating complex business requirements into a robust Business Intelligence architecture, leveraging best fit Microsoft technologies, ensuring that our clients realise the value of data that is otherwise trapped in their core systems Experience in BI data modelling (e.g. Kimball, Data Vault) Experience producing Dashboards and Visualisations that clearly articulate the Data Story High level of proficiency in SQL and DAX. MDX an advantage Ability to support the sales process by providing technical advice and demonstrating proposed solutions Proven ability to elicit business requirements and communicate these to peers and business stakeholders Can explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience Experience delivering data and analytics projects in a Project environment, using agile methodologies.
