We are searching for a motivated person to join our Business Analyst team at Catalyst in our
Wellington office. Our focus is to do exceptional work that integrates user-centred design and
accessibility in all of our open source projects.
As we continue to look forward to a world that is more and more open, we continue to give back: to
the online communities we work and play in and to the future open source technologists who will
champion tomorrow’s open enterprise.
Who are we after?
We are on the look out for a student of any discipline who is user focussed and excited to help create
solutions that are accessible to all. You will hone new skillsets by working with our awesome BA and
accessibility team to review, refine and iterate on our accessibility processes. You will be someone
who is keen to
• research how best to conduct accessibility audits so that they are time efficient and fail safe,
• work out how Catalyst can stay up to date with changes to WCAG 2.1 and
• work out how to bring accessibility best practice into Catalyst’s software development lifecycle.
You will have plenty of opportunity to practice your soft skills such as: Communication, stakeholder
management, time management and problem solving.
Catalyst champions open source software wherever possible so it is key you are interested in learning
open source apps, and given this is an accessibility internship, you will get bonus points for
experience using and working with accessibility audit applications.
