Offering to join as maintainers #32

Open denizs opened 5 years ago

Hey there, as already stated in the whaaaaat issue, I am part of a small company building one of our internal CLIs on top of whaaaaat, which has not been maintained well for the past couple of months. As this piece of software is particularly mission critical, we'd like to propose that @daniel-k and I join the group of maintainers to push development, quickly review PRs and maybe set up a continuous delivery pipeline to automatically push to pypi. Would be honored to join 👍

Best, Deniz

@denizs Thanks for your help. PyInquirer is originally whaaaat as we all know, but due to some issues I had to fork and rename it to this, so we can continue to maintain it. We are also currently working on the PyInquirer for prompt_toolkit2. You can checkout the discussion here https://github.com/CITGuru/PyInquirer/issues/14 Thanks again

I reached out over a month ago with the same question to @CITGuru, but things didn't move forward. Since we depended on this library in one of our larger projects (https://github.com/rasahq/rasa_core) we needed to move quicker. I've ported some of the functionality to prompt toolkit 2 at https://github.com/tmbo/questionary - not all components are supported yet, so would be great to get a helping hand if you have been using, e.g. the editor.
