On review we changed this issue into:

create an overview of all lists that are 'doable' (the list must be readily available (e.g. countries and places are not)
create issues for all of those lists and assign them NB: this should not just be done for the codelists (values), but also for the dimensions (variable names)
Creating a lineage dataset for currencies might serve as a nice demo case

Next change:

Also think of ways to generalise this process into an automated ingestion pipeline from e.g. standardised Excel files.

milestone review (2016-4-10): inventorized mappings often used: VOC product lists, ships, diamonds, various data from russian repository, SKOS-religion. todo: update available NAPP-standards

Countries & placenames are also a task in WP2. This will be taken up in 2017.

Finish the taxonomy on religions
Use this to also flesh out requirements for a simple tool (Excel-based) for ingesting user-defined taxonomies.
