Just an idea: can you extend triangle to square or so incorporating other components. I'm thinking in water, for example. If we have glucids, lipids, proteins and water we have a square. If we add fiber, we have a pentagon, etc.

Yeah that's actually something I'm working on at the moment! I want to make it so that you get any number of columns and it will work it out. I've just uploaded the 2D comparison chart and am making an animation in Matlab this weekend. Once that's done I'll be focusing on the yet to be named plot.
