Yes, I agree that this is an important feature, even though not absolutely necessary since the user can check periodically on the app on their own. However, this is definitely an important feature.

Reason: Keeps the entrant informed about the event participation status.

Acceptance Criteria:

When selected, the entrant receives a notification (e.g., push notification or email).
Notification includes details about how to confirm participation.

Dependencies:

Notification system (push notifications, emails).
Backend lottery selection logic.
