BOLD image fluctuation #7

System: Verio, Skyra (VD13ASP2) Sequence: CMRR Multiband BOLD May 2013 Release (0009a) Rx Coil: Head 32ch

The reconstructed image taken by MB BOLD fluctuates by 1 or 2pixel along phase direction at interval of every 4 scans (period = 8scans).

The scan parameters are as follows; MB4 / PE4, TR/TE = 1000/33

This was reported by Dr. Ogata, National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry, Japan

Can you send some sample raw data (meas.dat exported from twix) exhibiting this problem. Also, if possible, can you attempt to reproduce this with e.g. MB3 to see if the fluctuation interval changes to 3 scans.

Nevermind, I have verified the problem with some old simulation data. For MB{X}, the EPI phase correction is only being updated every {X} volumes, and the reference volume is likely partially corrupted. To be fixed in next release.

This issue appears to be resolved under Skyra VD13ASP2 with R10. Have not tested all sets of parameters but our default sequence no longer has shifts.

Thank you very much for your greate efforts! Though I have not yet installed it to my customer sites, but it is definetly good news! I will installe R010 at VD13SP4 site near future.
