i experimented a bit with the ebuilds and got version 0.9.0 working.

the ebuilds are a bit dirty and not very clean (you need to easy_install keyring bevore emering and pluginbs will only emerge when you write FEARTURES = -sandbox in /etc/make.conf while building which you shouldn't do in sensitive environments) but seems to work as far as i testet it.

Thank you for your ebuilds. Although at a much later date, I have used them as reference in implementing a version bump to the latest gnome15 version, which is now 0.9.2.

However, I made following changes (perhaps you will find this info useful):

• moved dependencies towards gdata to gnome15-plugins under the 'google' use-flag
• removed dependency towards gstreamer, since it is already pulled in by dev-python/gst-python. It might be worth considering pulling these in only if use-flag 'gstreamer' is in effect. What is your opinion on this?
• replaced the dependency towards gnome-keyring-python with dev-python/keyring, which seemed to satisfy gnome15-core; however, gnome15-plugins does bring in gnome-keyring-python. It would be worth testing if it is still required
• finally, the workaround with redefining the HOME environment variable didn't work on my system. The people on #gstreamer (FreeNode) provided me with the GST_REGISTRY variable, which solved the problem. Please advise if it works for you as well.
