@ramagottfried and I will start to assess and implement a version of devnotes for this repository soon, including details on build settings for both Xcode 5.1.1 and possibly Xcode 6.1.
Mainly the idea here is to capture dependencies, flags, compiler setups, etc.
We'll do testing to make sure that the externals can build in a number of environments, so that people can update the codebase via testing rather than checking in untested code.
