mmjd controllers -> odot world #17

controllers in depot could be translated into patches that get released in the odot portion of the main downloads include o.io.*.display make sure that spec is met so that they conform

o.io is not released yet so this would create problematic dependencies.

I think it's a good idea for us to simply put these patches into the private o.io space. They're not getting a lot of use in the depot, and any simplification I can do of this package would be an enhancement. I had made this ticket w/ the old casetracker, before https://github.com/CNMAT/o.io existed.

I haven't curated the o.io repo yet. It needs a dev folder where such things could be parked.
