standalones - where do they live? #31

The M29 Standalones need a home. I have been maintaining these, both on my server and my local machine for some time. I am about to remove these from my backups and machine, so I need to know where they will live, and whether or not you have the most current versions (I'd assume so).

Please let me know and I can proceed - I'd like to remove these soon as they occupy some disk space and I've been trying to consolidate my backups.

Shouldn't they be part of the pedagogy github project?

equilet commented 9 years ago

Arguably, no. The files are huge, and we don't want to maintain large files in repositories, especially with the way that .app packages work. If there is a solution for this on campus we'd love to hear about it - I think Box is closing.

bcourses is being extended to handle this kind of thing with project pages : https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B27IWIFK9C1pQTQtNzFnajBKZXUxREFIcmNZZ3NRdExEUEpV

Nice. Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out, and if we can find a viable solution for this soon (for this semester would be great), I'll close this issue.
