Agree. The one-time/important message/instruction can be shown by adding a HELP button. For example, the message below can be shown in HELP:
Agree. The instructions can be more comprehensive. At the beginning of the game, the instructions can be comprehensive demonstrations about the steps of playing game and achieving the game objectives. The instructions can be reviewed during the game time. A help button can be clicked to show the comprehensive demonstrations. In addition, a help button can be clicked to show comprehensive help files. The instructions of different game objectives, game options and DevOps metrics can be added in the help files.
That is a really good suggestion to enhance the gaming experience. I also concur that the first two weeks of education provide thorough instruction. It is simple to understand, with a large arrow pointing to the button's location and instructions on how to complete the objective's aim. But we have three goals to complete in the game's second phase. The time keeps running, and no additional instructions appear when I click the OK button in the prompt-out box. Two inquiries from me are as follows: where I can automate the tasks? What deployment environment is it used in? And after pausing the clock for five minutes, I eventually located the automation button. The Kanban page contains a little automation button.
A clearer instruction and a better user experience may be provided if the second phase's instruction can display the specifics as the first phase's did, which dimmed the backdrop and pointed a large arrow to the designated button or event.
Current Issues This game only shows instructions once, if the user does not pay attention to read and just presses ok, then the user will miss the instruction.
Suggested Enhancement The game can add a Help button on the home page to show all the appeared instructions. If users forget some instructions, they can come back to check at any time.
