[ ] Validate user inputs
[ ] Build a sidecar JSON template & fill with validated strings
[ ] Assemble event annotations
[ ] Save HED annotations to database
[ ] Consider logging history of users adding HED annotations

TC could maybe : The goal here is to reproduce / set up a worfklow similar to CTagger - in Loris. in a modal pop-up

Getting familiar Using libraries and HED tools:

JC to develop implementation plan including key questions like:

how many events.json should be generated? - per recoding or across recording

won't need as much guidance:

back-end saving can follow the model Alex committed for saving annotations.
